We often see geese in the pond on Sky Lake Road...
but on our trip this weekend, we found a family!
Two proud parents and five fuzzy goslings,
who were happy to take these stale rolls off our hands.

Wading in the Creek with Tara
Julianne was fascinated with the creek behind our campsite at Sleepy Hollow.
She couldn't wait to show it to Tara.
They took their shoes off and thought about wading in.
This little bubbling creek is colder than it looks!

With Tara at Sleepy Hollow
They came back from wading in the creek a little bit wet!
Julianne needed dry clothes, and some lunch too.
Then it was time for a Sunday-afternoon nap in the sunshine.

Weekend at Myrtle Beach
We took a long weekend for a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC, at the end of March. This was after Julianne's birthday and before Mimae's birthday, to celebrate both. As you can see, Julianne had a great time on the beach.
It seems like she's in perpetual motion, and the sandy shore was a perfect place for it.
She would stand at ocean's edge and fling sand into it, but didn't dare go into the water without her Mommy or Daddy. I think she was in awe of it.
Papa tossed her into the air, inside the Atlantica condo. It had a great view over the beach. On Saturday night her Daddy got two kites up in the air. Of course as soon as he handed the string over to Julianne, she let go, and Daddy chased that one down the beach for what seemed like miles. But as far as Julianne was concerned, the hotel's indoor pool was the main attraction. Like her Mommy and Mimae, she swims like a fish.

Our Last Spring at 3748 September Way
On Mommy's shoulders, picking Mimae's Lilacs...
With Smoky, the cat we inherited when our dear neighbor Molly moved away. We hope he'll come with us!
Up in the Dogwood tree ...
And with the Magnolia planted on day of her birth.
