Julianne & Kendal Splashing
This was in the backyard of a cottage Kathy & Eddie had for a weekend, right on the Chattahoochee. The water must've been straight out of the river too, because even though the day was scorching, that water was ice cold. The girls didn't mind though; they were playing too hard to notice

Picking Baby Pumpkins
Up the River Outfitters has a great early selection of tiny pumpkins and squash of all varieties.
Julianne was understandably won over by the baby pumpkins which she could carry in her hand.
She sits on an unusual pumpkin -- bumpy, nubbly, and bright orange -- and shows Daddy her choices. We'll come back to get a bigger one for jack-o-lantern carving in a few weeks. Meantime, we're counting down to our favorite holiday.

Summer is about... Fresh Corn on the Cob
Yeee-haw! She's got some fresh corn on the cob tonight, something that became a favorite over the summer.
She holds it by the "corn fingies" and rolls it in the butter, just like the grownups do.
"She actually finished that entire ear," marvels her Papa. Thanks to the fresh taste of summer corn.

Around the House
Mommy & Julianne love coming home cool & refreshed from the pool. Let's eat!
Julianne & Papa ponder an instructional diagram while Tim accounts for the parts needed. They did a great assembly job of our new downstairs pantry.

Upstairs with Her Grandparents
Grayson endures Julianne's attempts at noisemaking withpretty gentle good nature.
Coloring together. Julianne's holding the crayons much better now and experiments with colors.
Mimae plays with Julianne in the upstairs living room
Papa knows. Who doesn't love to dunk cookies in milk?
