Storyteller

Tonight at bedtime, after reading books and in the dark, I told Julianne some Little Blue Ghost stories. Then she told me a few stories of her own.

"It's about a frog. One day a little frog went out to hunt bugs. And his mom made them into soup. Then the flies died when they were hot, and the frogs ate it. Then they were all full."

And then, in a more technical vein:

"How do you make this into gold? You put it in the oven and cook it longer and longer until it is gold. Then you, like, take it out of the oven, and see, it will be gold."

Julianne went to see Santa Claus with friends Sarah and Sydney. These girls always have such a good time together. Julianne asked him to bring her a mama dog with puppies (stuffed, thank goodness!)
