A Note from Chloe's Mom

I'm reposting this bulletin from my dear friend Kate, who is one of the sweetest people I've known -- and her newborn daughter Chloe, who I'm sure is just like her mom. Please give what you can to the March of Dimes!

Hello Family and Friends,

I am doing the March of Dimes walk on April 27th in Chicago and will be raising money for the walk. I have a personal interest in this walk seeing as it is a walk for Premature babies. As I am sure all of you know, my daughter Chloe was born at 25 weeks. Only 6% of babies are born BEFORE 28 weeks in the US. You too, might have a friend or family member that has had or could possibly have a preemie. The fact is that 30% of women have preemie babies and have a 25-50% chance of having multiple premature babies.

The March of Dimes does A LOT of research and came up with a steroid called Surfactant, which if given in enough time, can help possibly save the baby's life. What Surfactant does is help the baby's lungs become more pliable and make it easier for the baby to breathe.

Please help in raising money for Chloe and babies like Chloe. If you cannot donate money please donate your time. You can go to the below website if you are interested in donating or for additional information.
